CBS SportsLine Adds Two National Columnists

FORT LAUDERDALE, FL, June 6, 2006 - CBS SportsLine, a leading Internet sports media organization and part of CBS Digital Media, today announced the addition of two national columnists to its flagship site, CBS SportsLine.com. (http://cbs.sportsline.com/)

Mike Freeman and Gregg Doyel will bring their unique perspectives on a host of wide-ranging topics in the world of sports.

Freeman joins CBS SportsLine from the Florida Times-Union, where he was its lead sports columnist the past two years. Prior to that he spent 11 years at the New York Times in a variety of beats and had major writing stints at the Washington Post and Boston Globe before that. The author of two books -- ESPN: The Uncensored History and Bloody Sundays: Inside the Dazzling, Rough-and-Tumble World of the NFL -- Mike started his career at the Dallas Morning News in 1988.

Freeman, who has garnered a handful of awards, including three APSE (Associated Press Sports Editors) top 10 awards in 2006, will begin writing for CBS SportsLine.com in July and will be based out of New York City.

Already a veteran of CBS SportsLine, Doyel has handled the college basketball beat since joining the company in October of 2003. Prior to CBS SportsLine, Doyel worked at the Charlotte Observer (Raleigh bureau) where he covered ACC college basketball and football and at the Miami Herald, where he spent two years as the Florida Marlins beat writer. Doyel has written two college basketball books, on Duke and Kentucky.

Doyel, who won two APSE top 10 awards (2000 and 2003) while with the Observer, will be based out of Cincinnati, OH.

Ray Ratto will continue as a national columnist for CBS SportsLine.com on a freelance basis. Ratto, a columnist for the San Francisco Chronicle, starting writing for CBS SportsLine in September of 2005.
