CBS SportsLine Signs Exclusive Internet Deal with Emerson Fittipaldi

Fort Lauderdale, FL - May 13, 1997 - Auto racing's most dynamic personality, Emerson Fittipaldi, has signed an exclusive deal with CBS SportsLine to join the Internet's most compelling web site. Together, CBS SportsLine and Fittipaldi have created Emmo.com, a multimedia experience where fans of the legendary driver can interact and explore the life of the world's most popular racing pilot. The announcement was made today by Michael Levy, SportsLine USA's C.E.O.

The site, http://www.emmo.com, offers more than 150 pages of multimedia entertainment and information showcasing Fittipaldi's life, including notes, stats, stories, photos, and more, all in a fun, interactive multimedia environment.

One of the greatest drivers in history and an international racing sensation, Fittipaldi has completed 13 seasons of Indy Car racing. He is the only driver to have won two F1 World Championships (1972 and 1974), an Indy Car World Series Championship (1989), and the Indianapolis 500 twice (1989 and 1993).
