Morin will be cast off the 40-man roster to open up space for Garrett Richards' activation from the DL and the contract selection of Deolis Guerra. The 26-year-old posted a 6.91 ERA over his 14.1 innings of relief with the Angels this season. He'll remain with Triple-A Salt Lake if he passes through waivers unclaimed.
