The Rangers released Reyes on Monday, T.R. Sullivan of MLB.com reports.

Reyes, who had attended spring training as a non-roster invitee, was one of 37 minor-league players cut loose by Texas. The 28-year-old spent most of the past season as a member of the rotation with the Rays' Triple-A affiliate at Durham, posting a 4.82 ERA and 1.46 WHIP in 106.1 innings.
