Manaea (10-10) surrendered seven runs on 11 hits over 3.2 innings Tuesday while striking out four to take the loss in an 11-1 rout by the Red Sox.
After delivering quality starts in three of his last four outings, Manaea was dreadful in this one, allowing hits in every inning he pitched, including a triple and homer to Mookie Betts. The lefty will take a 4.65 ERA into his next start Sunday on the road against the Phillies, assuming he hasn't been shut down by then.
