Waddell (undisclosed) was placed on the COVID-19 list Friday, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.
Waddell tested positive for the virus in mid-July and spent a month on the COVID IL before being activated last weekend, and he'll return to the specialized IL without appearing in a game. The southpaw hadn't felt well enough to pitch since he returned last weekend, and he'll now be unavailable until he clears the health and safety protocols once again, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.
