Adams is out of the lineup Sunday against the Pirates, MLB.com reports.
Adams will give way to Brandon Moss at first base Sunday, as the two continue to work in a timeshare at the position. Though Adams has been effective in his 60 at-bats this season, homering three times while batting .267, his fantasy upside will remain limited so long as Moss keeps stealing starts from him.
