Hurst was outrighted to Triple-A Memphis on Monday after clearing waivers.
Hurst has spent most of the year at the Triple-A level already, going 0-for-5 in limited action in the majors. He hasn't looked good for Memphis, hitting .186/.289/.270 in 59 games, so it's no surprise to see him pass through waivers unclaimed.
