Hurst was activated off the minor-league injured list Monday, Jeff Jones of the Belleville News-Democrat reports.
Hurst got to make his big-league debut back in April but went hitless in five trips to the plate. He posted a modest .713 OPS in 12 games for Triple-A Memphis before missing nearly a month with an undisclosed injury.
