Almora entered Wednesday's win over the Mets off the bench and went 2-for-2 with a triple, a homer and six RBI.
With those two at-bats in the seventh and eighth innings, Almora mightily rewarded fantasy owners who had him in their starting lineups even though the Cubs didn't. His playing time has been a bit sporadic, especially lately, but Almora's shown plenty of promise this season -- the 23-year-old's solid contact ability has earned him a .290 average, though his power and speed numbers leave something to be desired.
