Quiroz is not in the lineup for Thursday's game against the Phillies.
Quiroz went 8-for-19 (.421) over his last five games, but he will be held out Thursday with the Cubs starting nine right-handed hitters against Phillies left-hander Ranger Suarez. Christopher Morel will man the keystone for the Cubs on Thursday afternoon.
