Herrmann started at catcher and went 1-for-4 in the Diamondbacks' 8-2 victory over the Rockies on Wednesday.

Herrmann was making just his fourth start of the month and probably won't be in line for expanded at-bats in the final weeks of the season with Chris Iannetta thriving as the Diamondbacks' primary backstop. It's been a rough season for Herrmann, whose .173 batting average has mostly offset the impact of his career-high nine home runs in 236 plate appearances.
