Watson (5-4) took the loss Friday versus Atlanta. He recorded one out via strikeouts while yielding three runs on two hits and a walk.

The left-hander gave up an RBI double to Ozzie Albies before Zack Littell yielded a three-run home run to Jorge Soler. The go-ahead run was charged to Watson, resulting in his first loss in his second stint with the Giants. His ERA ticked up to 4.36 with a 1.11 WHIP and 33:15 K:BB through 43.1 innings. Friday was the fourth time in 47 appearances and the first since a six-run meltdown June 16 that Watson had allowed multiple runs in an appearance.
