Watson (6-4) earned the win Tuesday versus the Padres. He struck out two in a perfect inning.

The southpaw worked efficiently in the eighth inning, and San Francisco put him in line for the win with a go-ahead LaMonte Wade RBI single in the ninth. Watson now has a 4.05 ERA, 1.03 WHIP and 42:17 K:BB across 53.1 innings between the Giants and the Angels this year. He's expected to serve in a late-inning role with Jake McGee (oblique) on the injured list, while Tyler Rogers and Dominic Leone are also in the saves conversation.
