Grimm was released by the Brewers on Tuesday, Andersen Pickard of MLBDailyDish.com reports.
Grimm has given up nine runs in 4.2 innings of work this season. He had a similarly-poor 10.38 ERA in 17.1 innings in his previous big-league stint back in 2018, so he's unlikely to be a hot commodity on the open market.
