Frankoff was recalled by the Mariners to serve as the 29th man for Saturday's doubleheader against the Athletics.
Frankoff will provide an extra arm in the bullpen for Saturday's twin bill as the regular season winds down. The right-hander made two appearances earlier in September, allowing five runs on six hits and two walks while striking out zero over 2.2 innings.
