The Nationals reassigned Fox to minor-league camp Tuesday, Andrew Golden of The Washington Post reports.
Fox secured a spot on the Nationals' Opening Day roster last spring, but he'll open the 2023 campaign in the minors after failing to impress during his first taste of the big leagues a season ago. He mustered a .080/.115/.080 slash line in 25 plate appearances over 10 games with the Nationals before being moved off the 40-man roster during the offseason.
