Taylor got the start in center field during Wednesday's Grapefruit League game against the Tigers and went 3-for-3 with his second home run in as many days, three RBI and a stolen base.
The 25-year-old was supposed to be in a competition with Brian Goodwin this spring for the Nats' fourth outfielder job, but Taylor is trying to end that competition early, going 5-for-9 with a 1.778 OPS to kick things off.
