Smith (quadriceps) is not starting Monday against the White Sox, Roch Kubatko of MASN Sports reports.
Smith didn't require an MRI after leaving Sunday's game against the Twins with left quadriceps tightness, but he will require at least one day off. Stevie Wilkerson gets the call in left field in his absence.
