Tucker was optioned to minor-league camp Wednesday.
Tucker dealt with a bruised thumb earlier this spring but still appeared in eight Grapefruit League games. The 24-year-old hit .174 with two extra-base hits, one RBI, one run, one walk and six strikeouts this spring, and he'll likely begin the regular season with Triple-A Indianapolis.
