Pirates' Duane Underwood: Done for season

Underwood (shoulder) was transferred to the 60-day injured list Monday, Alex Stumpf of DKPittsburghSports.com reports.

The move confirms that Underwood's shoulder inflammation will shut him down for the season, as he was just placed on the 10-day injured list Sunday and there are far fewer than 60 days remaining in the campaign. It clears a spot for the Pirates to add Connor Overton to the 40-man roster after he was claimed off waivers from the Blue Jays.
