Pence has been diagnosed with right groin tightness after leaving Sunday's game against the Reds.
Pence is set to be re-evaluated Monday to determine the extent of the injury. Danny Santana could see more action if Pence is forced to miss time. Prior to exiting Sunday, Pence went 1-for-2 with a two-run home run, his 15th of the season.
