Ross (shoulder) was activated from the disabled list in advance of Friday's start against the Mariners.
Ross underwent surgery to treat his thoracic outlet syndrome back in October, and after months of rehab he'll finally get the chance to make his season debut. The embattled right-hander will make his inaugural appearance opposite lefty James Paxton in Arlington. To make room for him on the 40-man roster, Dillon Gee was designated for assignment.
