Lopez was recalled by the Reds on Friday.
Lopez was optioned Sunday but returns just five days later. He posted a .588 OPS in 17 plate appearances at the big-league level but owns a .920 OPS in 118 plate appearances for Triple-A Louisville. Nick Castellanos (wrist) hit the injured list in a corresponding move.
