Reds' Tim Melville: Assigned to Triple-A Louisville
Melville was assigned to Triple-A Louisville on Sunday, C. Trent Rosecrans of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports.
Melville was never on the active or 40-man roster, so this doesn't prevent him from making Thursday's start if the Reds go that route. But to reiterate, even though the game is against the Phillies, he's not a great option given his lack of strikeout upside.
