Garneau signed a minor-league contract with the Rockies on Wednesday, Nick Groke of The Athletic reports.
Garneau was let go by the Tigers on Thursday, but he'll land another minor-league deal less than a week later. The 33-year-old played for the Rockies during the first three seasons of his career, and he'll report to Triple-A Albuquerque going forward.
