Collins (elbow) will have his second Tommy John surgery on Friday, Jeffrey Flanagan of MLB.com reports.
Collins tore a ligament in his elbow, causing this season-ending Tommy John surgery. He had his first surgery in the spring of 2015, and missed the entire season to recover. Given his age, he may make a full recovery and be able to come back around mid-2017.
