Simmons was reinstated from the restricted list Tuesday, Brandon Warne of Access Twins reports.
Simmons was unable to cross the Canadian border for the weekend series in Toronto, as it would have interfered with his ability to establish permanent residency in the United States. With the Twins now back south of the border, he's able to return to the roster.
