Morrison is not in the lineup for Saturday's game against the Tigers, Mike Berardino of the St. Paul Pioneer Press reports.
Morrison will hit the bench for the second time in the last three games and he has not reached base in his last 16 plate appearances. The recently acquired Tyler Austin will serve as the Twins' designated hitter Saturday, batting fifth.
