Fry agreed Wednesday with the White Sox on a one-year, $862,500 contract to avoid arbitration, Jon Heyman of MLB Network reports.

The southpaw reliever was arbitration-eligible for the first time after posting a 3.66 ERA, 1.42 WHIP and 24:12 K:BB across 19.2 innings last season. He'll likely fill a middle-relief role for the White Sox in 2021.
