Warren will rest his ailing back for two weeks, Bryan Hoch of MLB.com reports.
Warren landed on the disabled list Wednesday with lower back spasms that cropped up over the weekend. While he's eligible to return on Sept. 12, the Yankees will give him some extra time to get over the issue. Once he returns, he'll reclaim his role as one of the Yankees' main setup men.
