The Jazz signed Reed to a three-year, $23 million contract Saturday, Adrian Wojnarowski of ESPN reports.
Reed is a restricted free agent, so Philadelphia will have until the end of Sunday to match Utah's offer. The 24-year-old big man was the primary backup to Joel Embiid last season but could be seen as expendable with Montrezl Harrell and Mo Bamba on the roster.
