Bane will start Thursday's contest against the Pistons, Drew Hill of The Daily Memphian reports.
With Grayson Allen (abdomen) sidelined, Bane will make the start at shooting guard. In 14 previous starts this season, Bane has averaged 8.8 points, 3.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 24.1 minutes.
