James (ankle), who is sitting out Tuesday's game against the Bucks, is expected to play in Wednesday's game versus the Grizzlies, Chris Haynes of Turner Sports reports.

After appearing in each of the Lakers' previous six contests, James is sidelined Tuesday due to left ankle peroneal tendinopathy, an issue he's been managing nearly all season. Though James expressed confidence that he'll be available for the second leg of the back-to-back set Wednesday, the superstar forward indicated that he may have to sit out additional games down the stretch of the regular season.
