Carter entered health and safety protocols Tuesday, Shams Charania of The Athletic reports.
The Nets now have five players in COVID-19 protocols. While Carter himself hasn't played a significant role lately, averaging just 4.6 minutes per game over the Nets' last eight contests, the team could certainly use all the depth it can get at this point. For now, the Nets still have enough available players to continue playing their scheduled games, but that could change if the outbreak continues to spread.
