Hamilton will play for the Nuggets' Summer League team, Harrison Wind of TheDNVR.com reports.
Hamilton will join Denver's Summer League team along with Josh Gray, as the team adds its final two pieces so that it has enough players to play Sunday against Miami. The 26-year-old last played in the NBA with the Hawks in 2018-19, when he averaged 3.0 points, 2.5 rebounds and 1.2 assists in 19 appearances.
