Cox has been placed on injured reserve after recently undergoing Achilles surgery, Maddy Glab of the Bills' official site reports.
Given that Cox required surgery and that the Bills signed two defensive linemen Tuesday, we doubt the veteran is coming back any time soon. Cox only saw action in one regular-season game for the Bills in 2020, so he might have faced an uphill climb to make the team anyway.
