The Bills elected to waive Cox on Saturday, Ryan Talbot of New York Upstate reports.
Cox inked a deal with the Bills this offseason after accumulating 12 tackles (nine solo) and 0.5 sacks across six games with the Browns last season. The 26-year-old will look to earn a depth roster spot elsewhere -- otherwise he could land back on Buffalo's practice squad for the 2020 campaign.
