The Jaguars waived/injured Jones (quad/foot) on Saturday, John Reid of The Florida Times-Union reports.
Jones played in four games for the Jaguars last year and caught one five-yard pass, but he couldn't stay healthy during training camp. If the 24-year-old clears waivers, he'll revert to Jacksonville's injured reserve.
