Ross joined the Patriots' practice squad Sunday, Mike Reiss of ESPN.com reports.
Ross had an impressive camp by some accounts this offseason but failed to earn the official 53-man roster spot. He'll look to showcase his skills, as he could be an injury or illness away from a roster spot in the New England pipeline.
