Howard (coach's decision) is inactive for Sunday's Week 5 tilt against the 49ers.
Howard has primarily been a red-zone specialist for the Dolphins through four games, totaling just 18 carries on the season, with eight coming from the 20-yard line or closer on his way to three rushing scores. However, he'll now don street clothes for the first time all season, with Miami set to go with a top RB duo of Myles Gaskin and Matt Breida against the 49ers.
