Mims (ankle) returned to practice Wednesday, Connor Hughes of SNY.tv reports.
Mims, who joined the Lions via trade from the Jets earlier in training camp, left practice with an ankle injury last week but looks to be back to full health. The 2020 second-round pick is competing to earn a spot on Detroit's 53-man roster.
