Ford (hamstring) was placed on the Packers' injured reserve Saturday.
Ford was sidelined for the Packers' previous three games and apparently was not nearing a return. In his absence, Anthony Johnson and Zayne Anderson could see some extra reps providing depth at safety behind Jonathan Owens and Darnell Savage.
