Fairley will sign a one-year contract with the Saints, NFL.com's Ian Rapoport reports.
Fairley also visited the Patriots as a free agent, but apparently has decided to play for the Saints this coming season. In a situational role last year, Fairley managed only 29 tackles and 0.5 sacks for the Rams, but should enjoy a more expanded snap count with the Saints given their interior defensive line needs.
