Burgess (undisclosed) was waived by the Giants on Tuesday from the reserve/PUP list with an injury settlement, Aaron Wilson of KPRC 2 Houston reports.
Burgess was placed on the PUP list May 8 after he cleared waivers following a failed physical. He's now free to sign with any team and play in the 2023 season if he can prove he's healthy.
