Stills could be in line for a heightened role in Thursday's season opener against the Chiefs if Brandin Cooks (quadriceps) is unable to play, Aaron Wilson of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Cooks sat out a second straight practice Tuesday, leaving his status on shaky ground as the Week 1 matchup nears. If Cooks is inactive, Stills should get the start out wide opposite Will Fuller, while Randall Cobb mans the slot.
