Titans' Zach Mettenberger: Week 16 start on tap

With Marcus Mariota out this week, Mettenberger will start Sunday's game against the Texans.

It wouldn't surprise us if Mettenberger started Week 17's game against the Colts as well, but the Titans have yet to rule Mariota out for that contest. In relief of Mariota in Week 15's loss to the Patriots, Mettenberger completed 20 of 28 passes for 242 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions. He'll take aim Sunday at a 7-7 Texans' squad that sits atop the AFC South standings.
