Young was released by Cleveland on Friday, Mary Kay Cabot of The Cleveland Plain Dealer reports.
After spending the entirety of the 2020 campaign on the team's injured reserve list, Young will leave Cleveland without playing a single game with the team. The last time the 25-year-old suited up was in 2018, during which he appeared in two games with the Rams. Young will aim to earn a depth linebacker role elsewhere for 2021.
