The Rams waived Ragas on Tuesday, Stu Jackson of the Rams' official site reports.
Ragas was the Rams' leading rusher during Saturday's preseason finale against the Bengals, rushing 11 times for 52 yards while securing his lone target for one yard. However, he was unable to land a role as a depth option in the team's backfield to begin the regular season.
