Avalanche's Darcy Kuemper: Gets starting nod Thursday

Kuemper (head) will be between the pipes for Thursday's road clash with the Kings, Adrian Dater of ColoradoHockeyNow.com reports.

While the team will give Kuemper an extra day of rest by starting Pavel Francouz against Anaheim on Wednesday, the 31-year-old Kuemper was not diagnosed with a concussion according to coach Jared Bednar.
